I hope everyone has had a relaxing and fun summer vacation! However, we are nearing a new school year which means bus routes are currently being built for all eligible bus riders. If you need to verify your child's eligibility, feel free to call the transportation office directly. Post cards with bus information will be mailed by August 11, 2017.  If you have moved over the summer, please bring your change of address information to either your child's school or the Education Center located at 901 S 4th Street in DeKalb so the address can be updated in a timely manner. This will assist in assuring that bus routes are accurate and will prevent delays in your child's bus route assignment.  If you will be using an alternative address or daycare address for your child's pick up or drop off, please call the transportation office at 815-754-2199 or your school office directly for the proper forms that need to be completed & approved. The forms are also attached on this post if you are able to print the forms from home. Address changes or alternative requests can take up to 10 days to process at the start of the school year, so please get your forms completed & turned in as soon as possible.  We look forward to working with you to provide your child with a safe means of transportation to & from school.
If you should at any time have any questions or concerns, please feel free to notify the transportation office at 815-754-2199

Sincerely,
Brenda Jergens
